The stars are approximately 19”/48cm across, a size up in chunkyness from the ‘medium’ willow star; about as big as a huge cake plate. A good size for the front of the door, top of a big tree, hanging on a wall with lights draped on, or anywhere else.
Completely eco, carbon neutral, and biodegradable if you wish. Willow is a carbon capturing product, using carbon from the atmosphere as it grows which is then locked into the willow for its lifetime.
The stars are made using all natural willow organically grown in Scotland by me, or on the Somerset Levels, near Bridgwater, England. Willow is a natural and renewable resource, being cut every winter once the leaves have fallen, then graded for use in basketry, fence and coffin making and.... stars in this case!
